Bandera 100K was a blast. I finished it in 16:30 Hrs. Joe Prusaitis races are the best organized. (Check Tejas Trails ) My race report is work in progress. Need to get it done asap.
Its recovery time. This is the time when one needs to be patient & got to listen to your body. My hip flexors held up. Only "snag" was my little toe which was hurt badly. It had turned blue black right around the nail. It was swollen. Been consistently treating it with Ice water with salt. Surprisingly, this has not happened before & i do not know why this has occurred. For now, i am reasoning it on my new inner sole.
Its a easy weekend with no run. I am heading out to Lake Tahoe for snowboarding with few friends. This is my second season out there. Hoping to hone my skills on board.
My next race would be the Rocky Raccoon 100M on Feb 7th. Once am back, i need to start my preparation for it, my crew, food, pacer et al.
Bye
