How to name it

The seconds hand in my wall clock makes the "click" sound, rightly spaced to say a second away. My ears takes the sound for granted. It tries to dig deeper into the silence between sounds to make a meaning out of nothing, probably eager to hear a symphony. It conveniently ignores the muffled voice of eddie vedder crooning "Society" from a modern day wonder, laptop. How ironic.

The eyes catches the slow animated swing of lift cord, suspended from the half raised blinds. The slats are opened at an angle to send the right amount of evening sun light. Mind fails to notice the shadows of the evening, slowly filling the living room. 32" TV awaits eagerly to be switched on. Its been a while since it had its life.

Legs are worst hit. Every now and then, the urge to move is curtailed by a quick stretch or hand massage. They have hard time expressing themselves. The throbbing sensations keeps increasing which is curtailed immediately. They are persistent bastards who have been subjected to greater antsy and suffering. They know their reward is in offing. After all, my fever is waning.

Ps: If all goes well, hoping to get a 10 miler tomorrow.
